At MerLeaux Aesthetics & Wellness, our name is more than just a brand—it is a bridge. Created by blending Merrill (my married name) and Badeaux (my maiden name), MerLeaux represents the fusion of the family who raised me and the family that stands by me today.

A Journey of 180 Pounds and Newfound Confidence

My passion for this industry was born from my own reflection. After losing 180 lbs, I experienced the radical shift that happens when your health transforms. However, I wanted my outward appearance to match the vibrant, energetic woman I had become. That journey of reclaiming my confidence is what drives me to help you. I don’t just provide treatments; I know what it feels like to transform, and I want to provide the tools for you to feel as powerful as you truly are.

Our foundation is built on the legendary resilience of my mother. At 80 years young, she is a survivor of breast cancer (three times), liver cancer (twice), lung cancer, and thyroid cancer. Her maiden name, Bilbo, connects us to Mississippi history—including her great-uncle who commissioned the first Bay St. Louis Bridge—but her true legacy is her warrior spirit.

Her journey is also the living proof behind the comprehensive care we offer, from the inside out. When she faced her most recent battle with liver cancer, treated with histotripsy, we supported her systemic recovery using therapies like Zepbound, NAD+, TA-1, and other targeted peptides. These advanced wellness protocols made her recovery significantly easier, giving her body the cellular and immune support it needed to heal.

We applied that same dedication to her outward healing. After suffering from Bell’s palsy for a year with zero improvement, our triLift treatments provided her with visible, life-changing recovery. When severe dry eye complications resulted in her having to have her eyes temporarily sewn shut because of the Bell’s palsy, our OptiLight therapy brought her tremendous relief. And after years of chemotherapy left her with severe hair loss, our Laser Hair Restoration protocol is helping her grow her hair back. She taught me that the body is capable of incredible things when you pair unshakeable grit with the right advanced science.

A Legacy of Belief

That warrior spirit was nurtured by my daddy, who always told me: “If you want something bad enough, you can make it happen. If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.” When I decided to retire from my previous career to build this dream, my parents’ belief in me was so absolute that they helped finance the very triLift technology that gave my mother her smile back.

The Backbone of MerLeaux: 34 Years of Partnership

Behind the scenes is my partner and husband of 34 years, Timothy Merrill. Timothy is the hardest worker I know. While he doesn’t have a background in marketing, he is my biggest cheerleader, promoting our business to anyone who will listen. He works every hour he can as a crane operator to financially support my decision to retire and pursue this calling full-time. His unwavering pride and hard work are the quiet engines that keep MerLeaux moving forward.

Our Daughter, Taylor McClelland, who serves as our receptionist, ensuring you are greeted with warmth the moment you speak to her and her husband Dillon (Navy Corpsman/Field Medic)
Our Sons, Joshua Lange (disabled vet) and Trevin Merrill (LBHS welding instructor, football coach, and bus driver), and their incredibly talented wives, Ryan (a stylist at Haus of Locks) and Jessica (a dedicated RN at the VA).
Our Seven Grandkids, who are the reason we build for the future.
